Malerei

Ohne Titel, 1980s, pastel on paper, 91,5 x 50 cm © Leiko Ikemura and VG Bild-Kunst Bonn, 2021.

Studio d'arte Cannaviello inaugurates the new artistic year with a group exhibition focused on painting created by artists from German-speaking countries. “Malerei”, in fact, collects different personalities united by two factors: the language and the pictorial medium. Most of these German-speaking artists have worked closely with the gallery, which has made numerous solo exhibitions in the past, while others are exhibited for the first time on this occasion.

The works of artists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, belonging to different movements and historical periods, will therefore be presented: ranging from the painting of the "Neue Wilden" to that of the "Wiener Aktionismus", from the 1980s to the 2000s. A unique opportunity to discover some works rarely exhibited to the public.
