This Collaborative Exhibition by Three Prefectural Museums (Aichi, Gifu and Mie), No. 6:

Art is one of the fields closest to magic. Within creative fields of endeavor an unconventional point of view and attitude is essential. Artists often visualize or bring invisible mystical images into form. We could consider them a type of magician for the technical and spiritual aspects of their work.

Audaciously bringing together works from a wide range of times and regions, this exhibition casts a light on magical aspects in works of art. As viewers enjoy the world in which magic and art mingle, they may give some thought to the invisible power which sometimes deludes people and sometimes stimulates them for creativity.
