The theme of this year's "Open Week", the third in the series, is "Open Art". About 20 works selected from the museum's collection will be a opportunity for visitors to become familiar with them through various tricks and hints.

In addition, the museum will offer a variety of programs open to the public, including a corner that explains how bricks are made using valuable materials from the Brick Archives in Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture, a corner where visitors can try to make paper crafts and stamps with design of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi station building, which is always popular, and workshops and musical events for children and adults alike. The nine-day event is designed to allow visitors to enjoy art and art museums in a program open to all.
