Lisson Gallery is delighted to present a special viewing of important work from its roster of artists in Hangzhou, including both recent and historic painting, sculpture and photography.
The display features Julian Opie’s Walking in Busan. 1 (2021); Anish Kapoor’s mirror work Black to Dark Teal (2018), Sean Scully’s square-formatted, multipartite sculpture Small Cubed 8 (2021); Christopher Le Brun’s illuminous painting First Summer (2023); and historical photography Breathing In/Breathing Out (1977) by Marina Abramović & Ulay.
The presentation continues with Leiko Ikemura’s painting Gold Scape (2012), Laure Prouvost’s sculpture Jens (2023); Hiroshi Sugimoto’s photography Opticks 034 (2018); Richard Long’s recent mud work Untitled (2024); Tony Cragg's work Stack (2018); alongside Masaomi Yasunaga’s signature vessels.
Further highlights include Elaine Cameron-Weir’s sculpture Configuration will be maintained by the means not shown (2024); Ryan Gander’s Echo Portrayal (2020); and Zhao Gang’s oil on canvans Untitled (2023)
