The second term: 28 November 2025 to 24 March 2026

Bernard Buffet Museum was founded to house and exhibit the works of the 20th century French painter Bernard Buffet. However, the museum also houses works by other École de Paris artists such as Maurice Utrillo, Moïse Kisling and Léonard Tsugouharu Foujita, as well as contemporary artists such as Yasumasa Morimura and Leiko Ikemura. This exhibition is an attempt to explore new aspects of art works by displaying his works alongside those of his contemporaries and contemporary artists. How do Buffet's works differ from those of his contemporaries and contemporary artists? Or what similarities can be found between the works of Buffet and his contemporaries and contemporary artists? The exhibition will bring to light different aspects of the works that have not been seen until now.
